Our paraplanners provide key support to our financial planners – such as report writing, financial research, and helping with client enquiries – so you might sometimes speak with Hannah, as well as your adviser.

Who is Hannah

Hannah Jones joined us in 2017 as a Graduate Trainee and – having progressed through her training – now provides higher-level support to our Financial Planners. She completed her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in December 2021 and is now working towards becoming a Chartered Paraplanner.

Hannah lives out towards the Norfolk coast with her two dogs and enjoys both walking and running in the local countryside, beaches and the Norfolk Broads. Hannah is also an avid reader and podcast listener often focusing on History, a passion which she studied as an undergraduate.

Fact

Hannah took up running during the pandemic and hasn’t looked back. It has become a great way to get some fresh air, exercise and relieve the stresses of the day. She loves running in all-weather and admits it's fun splashing in the rain, even as an adult!

Hannah loves music of all sorts. She has a particular passion for musical theatre, and sang in a musical theatre choir at university. She is a regular attendee at the local Norwich Theatre Royal and has seen most musicals.

Hannah has always loved to lose herself in a good book, particularly fantasy and science fiction. She' s also added podcasts, audio books and video games as new ways to indulge her imagination.

What's it like working at Investing Ethically?

Although I never planned on working in financial services I can easily say I love working for Investing Ethically Ltd. Having always enjoyed multi-tasking I relish the challenges and variety I’m faced with every day. I have also been greatly encouraged and supported in gaining my professional qualifications. I enjoy working within a small team of people as we are always willing to support each other and we all like a bit of a laugh. However, my role can be demanding and often the most difficult part is dealing with providers and keeping up to date with ever changing computer systems.

Accreditation

A huge thank you to Lisa and Hannah - my pensions were in a right old mess, and after months of frustration we did it! It's great to have an actual person to talk to who knows me and my financial situation.
