Swallowtails and Stepping Stones

The students at Stepping Stones have produced a wonderful Swallowtail picture for us!

Stepping Stones is one of the charities that we’re pleased to support here at Investing Ethically. As part of their enterprise project work, the students have designed and produced a fabulous picture for us.

Norfolk is home to the rare Swallowtail butterfly – which we’ve adopted as our company symbol – and the full picture shows the four stages in the Swallowtail’s life-cycle.

We were delighted to welcome some of the Stepping Stones students and staff to our office for the grand unveiling of the new picture.  It’s hanging proudly in our meeting room, so you’ll see it if you come to visit us.

Stepping Stones provides a safe environment in which adults with learning disabilities can access education and training. Their mission is to increase students’ knowledge and confidence, encouraging them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives within their community. The students enjoy subject areas including art & craft, cooking, horticulture, and media. The enterprise project is part of building-up a sustainable income stream for the charity.

Huge thanks to the Stepping Stones students, and to art tutor Sue, for the wonderful work!
