Thrive Renewables
In May 2016 we contacted our clients and supporters to inform them about a new social investment from Thrive Renewables – The Thrive Renewables (Buchan) Limited bond offer. This was a five year investment offering a gross interest of 5.5%.
Thrive Renewables is the new name for Triodos Renewables, which is a long established fund investing and managing renewable energy assets across the UK. The Triodos name has been replaced by Thrive to reflect the fact that the investment fund is now a totally separate company from Triodos bank.
In keeping with our ethos of supporting socially responsible and environmental investments we were delighted to see that Thrive reached its fund raising target of £3 million within 4 weeks. This mirrors the continuing success of Abundance Generation as well as a significant number of community energy investment schemes in recent years.
