We’re delighted to have improved to Silver level on the Norfolk Carbon Charter! We signed up to the Charter in 2018 as part of our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and were accredited to Bronze level. We’re really pleased that – two years on – we’ve made enough progress to have moved up to Silver. We’ve taken a range of steps to increase our energy efficiency; be more careful about resource use in our offices; and reduce our business mileage. For example – we’ve installed a new boiler, we’re making more use of online meetings, and the milk for our morning cuppa is now delivered by a local ‘float. As a result, over the last few years, our annual carbon footprint has dropped from 12.2 to 9.8 tonnes of CO2. Next steps…. let’s look at Gold! Big thanks to Amy and the team at Groundwork East for their ongoing support.
