The first months of the year are rolling by and we already have exam success in the office. Hannah completed another CII exam, Investment Principles and Risk. The exam syllabus focuses on investments, risks, behaviour and correlation; the macro-economic environment and its effect upon asset classes; investment theories; the impact of risk on investment performance and investment performance.  Hannah said ‘the time flew by and it was quite intense’.  All the hard work was worth it. Well done Hannah.

New Staff

We also had a new member of staff start in February, Donna has joined us as a trainee financial adviser. Donna has supported our business at Aviva previously and we are very happy that she has chosen to join us. She has started a two year training programme with our advisers as her mentors.  We hope that some of you get the chance to meet her by allowing her to shadow the advisers at your adviser meetings to help her gain experience.  We welcome Donna to our team.

Weddings

Wedding bells will be ringing across our office in May.  Debbie is getting married and is taking a break from exams until after the event. We wish Debbie and Paul all the best on their special day.

New Systems

We have also implemented a new back office data management system ‘Intelligent office’. This system offers a ‘client portal’ which will enable you to view your financial information and interact via a secure, online ‘hub’ anywhere and on any device. We hope to roll out access to the portal to our clients this year. We may well ask some of you for feedback on its performance.
