Investing Ethically Ltd have been shortlisted for a P.E.A. award (People. Environment. Achievement. Awards). These awards honour ‘green heroes’. Up against two other entrants in the Money category, Triodos Bank and Impax investments, we will find out our fate at a glamorous green carpet event with music, entertainment and ethical food and drink in London.
The ceremony will be attended from a variety of sectors, all nominated green heroes who are taking matters into their own hands and providing inspiring alternatives to business as usual. For more information about the awards click here.
16.10.17 UPDATE :-The event was a great success and a lot of fun. Although we did not win, it was wonderful to have reached the shortlist with such worthy opponents.
We also reached the shortlist for a more local award – The Eastern Daily Press Small Business Award, being in the final 9 from over 40 applicants, we are very proud of our achievements of late.
Recognition
To be competing alongside much larger organisations in the Money category and seeing ethical investments gain immense ground with positive media attention as well as recognition within the industry is fabulous. “We have always prided ourselves on being thoroughly professional in everything we do, and to receive external recognition in this way is very gratifying’.
Ethical Investments
Just last month, Moneyfacts commented ‘Our latest figures show that ethical funds have outperformed their mainstream peers in 13 of the 20 scenarios surveyed, so there’s clearly scope for more people to consider them.’
As specialists in providing advice on all types of investment and pensions planning for individuals and businesses, our firm combines 50 years’ experience in ethical markets, one of our biggest assets.
Ethical investment is an astoundingly broad and diverse sector. Although it has been seen as restrictive in the past, the marked increase in ethical funds in recent years means that ethical investment can now cater for a diverse range of requirements. Ultimately, ethical investing is always dependent on the investor’s views. It is how you, as an individual or organisation, personally feel about an industry or practice.
