Gerald Potter
Paraplanner
Our paraplanners provide key support to our financial planners – such as report writing, financial research, and helping with client enquiries – so you might sometimes speak with Gerald, as well as your adviser.
Who is Gerald
Gerald joined Investing Ethically in the summer of 2021, having worked in a variety of roles with financial services companies since leaving school. Having served a time at Aviva, in common with many school leavers in Norwich at that time, Gerald then worked for local financial adviser firms in both advising and administrative positions.
Living in a village on the outskirts of Norwich with his wife and two adult children, Gerald enjoys a number of activities in his spare time. A keen short mat bowler, Gerald plays for two local clubs, East Tuddenham and Thorpe Marriott in the Bure and City Leagues respectively. He and his wife like to walk in the Norfolk countryside and Gerald also watches Norwich City at Carrow Road.

What's it like working at Investing Ethically?
I very much enjoy my role at Investing Ethically, every day is different. Since joining the company, I have been particularly impressed by the friendly and supportive environment that has been cultivated by the Directors and my co-workers. The work can be quite demanding at times and is a particular frustration that not all financial companies will respond promptly to requests for information but ultimately my role is rewarding.
