Donna Nelson

Financial Planner

 

Donna has been working in financial services for twenty years.  She worked for Aviva, where she started in Group Pensions Admin and progressed through various roles, including time spent in the UK and overseas training staff for the company.  Donna joined us here at Investing Ethically in 2019 and is now one of our four Financial Planners.

Donna achieved the Diploma in Financial Planning many years ago. She has more recently qualified in Long Term Care Planning (CF8) and is studying towards the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, working towards her goal of Chartered status.

Donna has two young daughters who take up lots of time outside of work. Donna loves cooking and trying new cuisines. When the opportunity does arise, her favourite hobby is eating out and heading-out for long walks exploring the Norfolk coast and countryside.

Favourite Part of the Job?
“I love meeting new people and helping clients to achieve their financial goals.  It really matters to me that we are offering ethical solutions that contribute to making a meaningful difference to our planet.  The environment and team here at Investing Ethically are one of the most supportive I have known, which makes coming to work each day a pleasure.”

Worst Part of the Job?
“Time flies and there never seem to be enough hours in a day!  It helps me to focus my time and prioritise speaking to clients above everything else. as this is what I enjoy the most.”
