Andy joined the firm in June 2006, and has been a financial adviser since 1998, working for Aviva, Barclays and Gerrards in Norwich and London. Before leaving the last of these companies, he had become increasingly disillusioned with main stream financial services. It seemed to him that the whole emphasis of the organisations he worked for was the pursuit of money, with little consideration to anything else.

At Investing Ethically, he has found something different.

For Andy, it is not just that all pensions and investments that Investing Ethically recommend are ethical, but also the way the company treat each other and their clients. He was particularly drawn to the democratic nature of the company, and the ability it gives each IFA to influence and direct growth.

Andy joined the firm because he wanted to be part of the solution, rather than the cause of the many problems facing the planet today. That sense has only continued to grow since coming on board.

As well as the standard Diploma level qualifications, Andy has undertaken further study and attained the Advanced Diploma level qualification and has achieved Chartered Status.

When Andy isn’t dealing with the financial world, he is likely to be out in the great outdoors either hiking, cycling, canoeing or camping.
