Chartered Insurance Institute
We have been awarded the prestigious Chartered Financial Planners designation by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This means we have satisfied rigorous criteria relating to professional qualifications and ethical good practice. It means you can be confident that you are dealing with one of the UK’s leading firms that is wholly committed to providing you with the best possible advice, service and support.
This is the industry’s gold standard for firms of financial planners. It confirms that we have highly-qualified staff who subscribe to the membership conditions of the CII.
It also involves a commitment to continuing professional development and adherence to an industry standard Code of Ethics.
Furthermore, in addition to our Corporate Chartered Status – three of our advisers are also individually accredited as Chartered Financial Planners.
Why use a Chartered Financial Planner?
In the words of the CII, “The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has been entrusted with raising standards in the finance sector since 1912. We award Chartered status to individual professionals and firms who display eminence in their field. By choosing Chartered, you are choosing a financial planner who has made a public commitment to professionalism. They must maintain standards of excellence in qualifications, ethics, business practices and professional development. The CII sets the bar, a firm meets it.”

Organisations that we support
Investing Ethically is pleased to support the work of a number of national and local charities. Currently these include:
Freedom from Torture
Freedom from Torture is dedicated to healing and protecting people who have survived torture. They provide therapies, medically document torture, and provide legal and welfare help. They expose torture globally, fight to hold torturing states to account and campaign for fairer treatment of torture survivors in the UK.
Wheatfen Nature Reserve
Wheatfen is a beautiful and nationally-important nature reserve in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, a home to the rare Swallowtail butterfly. It is managed by the Ted Ellis Trust – preserving the legacy of Ted Ellis, one of Britain’s great naturalists.
Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones provides a safe environment in which adults with learning disabilities can access education and training. Their mission is to increase students’ knowledge and confidence, encouraging them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives within their community.
Norwich Food Hub
Norwich Food Hub works to tackle food poverty by reducing the amount of edible food being wasted. They collect surplus food from local retailers, sort and store it, and then redistribute it to other local charities who get it to the people who need it.
