Cotswolds 'green' motorway services gets thumbs-up from planners
Planners have approved designs for the £35 million Gloucester Gateway project which aims to reinvent the motorway pitstop for the carbon-conscious generation with electric charging points, locally sourced produce and a ban on fast food giants.
Local environmental campaigners warn that, far from reducing the environmental impact of the motorways, it will encourage more people to drive.
It's hard to imagine people driving down the motorway just to visit the green service station so its sad that an inititive like this isn't welcomed.
